Resource Log, Entry 2-5

I had a fantastic reading time looking up some more goodies for our class. I found these next for to be particularly interesting. I put the first one in APA format, and provided the link as well, but the other three were just mostly web pages that I retrieved today and yesterday. I would use January 15 or 16, 2009 for the APA citation.

#4 This page looks like a task that would be assigned in higher level learning. I thought it might be helpful in our book development.

#5 I found another visual tool that breaks the constructivist view down and couples it with technology.

  1. Thanks for modeling the APA format for me. I actually was thinking about the comment in your entry in the blog about this one where you talk about adults wanting to have information spoon feed. I have to admit that I am one of them. But I believe that if one does as you suggested to sit down with information and "figure it out", then it becomes more meaningful and the reader has ownership. Thanks for giving me something to think about.

  2. Wow, I'm flattered. I didn't think to really apply that comment outside of my office. I really appreciate your thoughts! For me, APA citations have been a really scary thing, and believe me I avoided them! It took a lot of papers and looking around to find a good how-to resource. Once I found that, the rest was smooth sailing!
